Global Money Transfers Summit London-2011

15-16 November 2011 London Hilton on Park Lane

IAMTN will be hosting the GMTS summit on 15th & 16th November 2011 at London Hilton on Park Lane. This two-day summit will be the seventh such conference and has become an established fixture in the international remittance calendar. Business leaders from money transfer companies, banks, regulators, suppliers, inter-governmental agencies, technology companies, legal firms and more will come from around the world to take part in a revamped programme that will not only talk about the issues but will provide pragmatic advice on how to address them as well as highlighting real business development opportunities. Aside from addressing the key areas of the current global environment for remittances, new technological opportunities, and the regulatory environment it will also focus on strategic and operational imperatives facing anyone operating in the remittances market. Not only will GMTS provide a real opportunity to listen to acknowledged experts in the area of money transfer but it will also allow plenty of time for networking, initiating partnerships and showcasing products.

Building on IAMTN’s reputation for pragmatic solutions and helping our members in a practical way we will be running workshops on subjects such as the Payments Services Directive, how to manage your foreign exchange exposures and how to work with the Public Sector.

True to IAMTN traditions the conference sessions will be delivered by real experts who have first hand knowledge of working in the industry, working with regulators and the public sector to create an environment that delivers real products and real value to consumers. This will be an action oriented conference for people who want to ‘do’ not those who just want to ‘talk’.

Delegates will be drawn from around the world. This is a must attend event for anyone with an interest in doing business in the region or understanding just how important remittances are and will continue to be.
